My mates mate recently put in a b18c4 into a mk2 CRX with a s2000 clock in there. Supposed to look well nice. If i do get a chance i'll try and take pics but not anytime soon though
Has anyone got any pictures of the back of an i16, gl etc speedo?
just so i can see what plugs are. The only reason you cant make the s2000 dials plug and play is as there is no mating halfs of the plugs honda use available!
so obviously im not going to dissmantle my vt dials but if the i16 dials are the same i could use the connectors in a box to make it plug and play!!

I have a 1.5 Auto speedo/rev unit, if thats any use to you?
I also have pigtails from a late spec 1.6 16v too...?
Here you go dude... I can't find the pitails/plugs though, not sure where they got to, but I'm sure I can get a spare set if you need them.
(remember these are clocks for an auto)
Ill keep having a look as it would be much better being able to have the dials as plug and play!
My mate mickie (mooser) on here has a set of vt dials but obviously its going to cost alot more if you have to get another set of vt dials to make it plug and play!
Some of the sockets are not going to be able to be removed like two of Marcs pic suggests and VT dials have at least one plug/socket like that. An idea might be to scotch lock into those wires to add another wire that attaches to your S2000 plugs.
It's not as simple as wiring. There are a few conversion boxes needed.
However everything required is available from sources other than Lammond.
Honda-Tech.com or I think there was a discussion on crx-uk about the other suppliers doing a variety of boxes to support the conversion.
It's not as clean as Lammonds but it works.
It's about the same price.
