More likely to get a 330mm, make sure you get one that moves it closer to the driver as this will also move it further from your knees.

quiet weekend this one, just did my rocker and a clean of the engine bay...

Went for nighthawk black, has a lightly blue tinge which is cool.

Looking nice, ready for JAE

It would look better with a silver 'Type R style' oil cap
No longer on the 'sucker list'

Still keeping myself busy with little civic, have just been lazy again with updates.

FINALLY got to the bottom of the knocking coming from my right front. Cut a long story short, my local garage managed to mess this up twice - I needed a new TRE and SRE which they 1. Managed to fit the wrong part and 2. when replacing it with the right part that I sourced they just bodged it all back together. When putting the ball joint together they had used a normal nut instead of a castle lock washer and didn't renew the locking washer on the TRE - SRE connection. This meant whilst driving my TRE and SRE where undoing from each other - dangerous.

This was the old washer they had tried to use:

This is what I have replced it with:

Meanwhile, have had a few things delivered from ebay:

A nice 320mm wheel with boss for £30. Not bad:

and fitted a few engine tidy bits from Mr. Widowmaker:

and cleaned out my throttle body:

and during all this I have reached a landmark in the cars history:

Not been up to much car wise recently as have moved flats and been consumed with work, both at work and in my spare time :?

However, some work was required after some unknown numpty pranged my car in a private road where i park for work. No note, no nothing, just a dented wing and door

So managed to source a door and a wing from alih369 which luckily were also red and almost a perfect colour match, just a tad faded which should come up with a bit of T-cut.

Have no pictures of the damage specifically but you can see from this pic that the door was monged

Image

don't think I've ever taken it aprt so quickly! With a second set of hands the door was replaced and the wing was off in an hour!

Image

Have to say cheers to ali369, the door came up a treat:

Image

Have to say it looks good, just needs another few T-cuts, a clay and a good polish.

And it should soon be finished as the kind Danx is providing me with a replacement bump strip :)

And then I can get back on with buying mods for it :P

Thanks. Lowered by 40mm but needs to be lower at the back if I'm honest.
