id rather just bolt in CRX seats, they are better shaped and hold you better, and can be made to fit with minor mods.

i think the 88-89 seats had no writing on them?
No, the 88-89 seats had the writing too, there is a possibility some of the 1.5 special editions don't have the writing though.

nah, because they are raised on the outside, due to the floor plan

CRX seats are a 95% fit, they just need minor mods to the shuttle rails. and as both the shuttle and crx seats are pretty much level on the underside of the bases, it makes sense to use CRX ones. 4G seats just wouldnt be worth it, and they wouldnt make the driving position any lower, maybe make it higher.

Sucks. I do not want crx seats. But the shuttle seat is way too high for me.
It's really annoying me cos it's so god damn hard to lower the shuttle seat.
I've scalped out some foam and lowered the steel tray but that's only maybe an inch. I could do with another one or two.

Niether can I! It's taking so long, it's starting to get to me.. having second thoughts about keeping it. But we will see.

Should be picked up in about 3 weeks time to get sorted.

because i have love for the car mate, and i want to 'restore' it.
it needs welding to get through the MOT, so no point of me buying it if i wouldnt make any profit. i want to keep it obviously, but it depends how work goes for me, and if i can raise enough funds for my flights.

bought it in April with the intentions of sorting it out within a month, two months max, but its dragged on so much, i just want/need it sorted as soon as so its one less thing to worry about

You'll probably hate this suggestion, but i reckon that would look awesome on some 16" alloys, 4x4's need big wheels! ;-)
