same engine, both 130 bhp.

There are two different flywheels not sure which ones for which. And Im convinced theres 2 different gear boxes with slightly diff ratio's.

Crx very slightly lighter, and I would guess a lil more aerodamic.

I've previously owned both and theres not much in it, but the crx would edge it deffinetly.

they all have the same engine and gearbox, 1.6 dohc 16v d16a9, L3 box

both the same

but CRX is 0.1 seconds quicker, so the book says, same as the VT's, which is down to the aerodynamics

my crx felt quicker to be honest. it kept closer to my mates mk1 crx 0-60 and began to catch/over take later on. The civic doesnt get any were near as close. It isn't just my civic either my freind had a silver one and it was neck n neck with mine. The crx did have a straight through exhaust but that doesnt make a HUGE difference. Maybe that crx was just special

Has anyone else noticed there's two different sets of flywheels/clutch kits for the d16a9

Three actually, 2 spline differences, 2 different sized clutches + 3 different clutches, and there are two different sized flywheels. Depends on the date of manufacture.

noticed the different flywheels, the previous owner of my silver crx had bodged two 1 part from one clutch kit and one part from another to fit the flywheel. Know wonder it was slipping

didnt realise there was 3 different clutch kits
