yeh they will fit

you just need the front forks from a DC2/EG, and the rear LCAs to make them loopeye

no disadvantages etc

I thought DC2 stuff made EF's sit high for some reason?

Well im sure the coilovers will take care of height, maybe wont be able to go as low as you could on an EG or DC2.

dc2 coilovers wont allow the car sit as low as if you had proper ef coilovers....even at lowest level on set of tein dc2 coilovers i felt it was no way near as low as i needed so i just got proper set which did the job

oh and no need to change forks or lca's if you have jdm ef9 or any jap model

Also, the spring rates may not be what you'd want for an EF.

Im thinkin of doing this too. A set of cusco coilovers for a dc2. I have sourced a set of eg front forks for the job and my ef is a jap import so rear lca's are for eye type. Anyone else got info on this. Thanks

As EE9 CVC posted, the spring rates won't be right for a Civic EF, and DC2 shocks are longer than EFs', so it may be an odd right height, and maybe too stiff. Cusco coilovers are notoriously hard, in my experience.
