Car had full service history up to 82,000, then previous owner had it to 89600 were his mechanic freind serivced it, had fresh goldeny oil and new looking filter. Since then the engine lost compression at around 100,000 miles, rather than fix that engine we put in my old d16a9 that was in my mk2 crx as we knew it was good and cambelt and gasket had just been done, also put in the crx ecu, lightened flywheel, and 4 to 1 manifold. The car ran alot better and more responsive than before, I would recommend running vpower high octane with this ecu!
At 104,000 miles there was overheating probs, we decided cracked head because when the gasket was done on this engine the head had to be skimmed heaveyly. Anyway fresh head has been put on and a top quality head gasket from concept and also new cambelt. Engines running like a dream! should have anyprobs if kept up to service for atleast 30,000 miles.
Spec/new parts:
-New radiator in last 6 months
-Black diamond front discs and ebc green stuff pads
-4-1 to one manifold
-lightened and balance flywheel
-Induction air filter
-Cold air feed pipe through front bumper to air filter
-Brand new ngk sparks
-New silocone ht leads
-Almost new toyo t1r's on front
-recent new windscreen
-brand new sump
-has been run on semi syn mobil oil
-and best of all tacky black and silver alloys

5 months tax, Mot till march clock says 106,000, bottom end has done around 130,000 this was inspected and was no wear on inside of cylinders, heads done 88,000.
Shell in good condition, most people comment on it being tidy example, it has been respray at some point and a few minor sbit of bubbling but shouldnt be prob for a few years, and underneath the car is a solid shell
