I'd say ball joint with the knocking noise round corners, but could be driveshaft too if your getting shuddering under braking.

You also have the option of reconditioning your current driveshaft if that is the problem
Red EC9 - sold
Red EE9 - sold
Black CRX siR - new toy

ah right , i mean when you brake at like around 50+ it shudders quite a bit and makes a light knocking noise when turning relatively sharp corners so i was thinking driveshaft.
do you know if there much to recondition or replace?

you can get a new joint for about 40 quid, iirc they just "knock" off ;)

to be honest I've never had to pay for it to be done on my civic, but when I got my prelude one done it cost around £90 iirc. I'd expect it to be a bit cheaper for a civic driveshaft.
