Wow never knew it was this simple to fix - here's hoping for a good day tomorrow so I can get 1 and 2 back, my long long lost friends i either have mild gale or tornado in my car it out blasts the sound of the stereo sometimes!

The thing is, my heater speed one bust again, i went to repair it, and the whole wire for speed one just dicintegrated!

If your good with a soldering iron, best to replace the whole wire

i thought u had an image of it done? with twisted wires? ive just taken mine out and going to twist it up yo!

just done this Giz, and now on only #4 speed works?

i took off the grey hard stuff as it was all cracked, im guessing thats my problem? should i feed a paper clip or something round all the wires?

You are better to solder the breaks rather than twist them. The solder doesn't like to stick well but if you take your time it can be done, I did mine ages ago and have never had a problem since.
