More work was done over these couple of weeks. I had a problem with the clutch, it took us whole week to figure out what was the problem. It was the hose from the upper to lower cylinder. It was out of rubber and wasn't holding the pressure. The guy at the store basically sold me the wrong thing.

Brake setup:
-EP3 calipers( sandblasted, cataphoresis, black 800C paint), new pistons, new gaskets. 2mm milled caliper bracket.
-Ferodo DS2500 brake pads
-280mm Clio RS (172/182) discs (Brembo max)
-HEL performance braided lines
-1" master cylinder
-ATE superblue brake fluid
I use standard hubs (not VT ones).
Clio RS (172/182) discs (standard, just for mockup) - 280mm test fitted with EP3 carrier. It needed some machining in the middle of the carrier and will need milling 2mm to offset it in the center of the disc.

HEL braided lines for the rears, I already have the fronts installed
Image

Calipers back from cataphoresis
Image

Painted with 800°C resistant paint, these look better than new!
Image

While we are at the brakes, we needed a simple table :D

More work around the engine itself was done. I bought an Integra air box pipe and an EK VTI airbox, ditched the resonators, modded the rubber pieces which now just slide in the ITR pipe. Looks OEM like I wanted, I used what came with the box. I plastidipped the airbox and it looks really good with the texture.
I actually like the looks more than an ITR airbox, the VTI is more clean with the lines running over the whole lid.
It also nicely hides the cable/hose mess behind the gearbox. I still need to make cold air ducting from the bumper to the box and the mount to bolt it down.

Image

OEM looking coupling, it is angled which is really perfect.
Image

As for the chassis stuff. I put the bumper back on.

Hiding in the shadows
Image

The roof was really dull looking, the paint is burnt.
Image

So I decided to do a ghetto fix.
Image

Obviously not done yet
Image

Put the bonnet on aswell, I needed to space the bonnet for 22mm to close OK and I think the valve cover is still touching the sound deadening on the bonnet. I don't like this look, but it will do for some time. I will probably make some 10mm spacers to lower the engine.

More stuff done, the windshield is in, the guy also put a new rubber trim on the top, looks really neat.

Then onto the exhaust. Pipes are 63,5mm x 1,5mm, much bigger than standard and a pain to route. It's just a mockup, but will be welded over the weekend.

I bought the longest Magnaflow they had, measuring 57cm x 10cm, it's huuge! :D

My ECU took a sh!t few weeks back, so I got a P28 and chipped it myself. I bought the elements on eBay and had the guy burn my map on it. I basically took a P30 map and copied P72(US B18C1 GSR engine - almost identical to EU B18C4). I disabled secondary throttle bodies, raised VTEC from 4500 to 5500rpm (to suit the Skunk intake), shiftlight at 7800rpm and redline at 8200rpm.
P28 ready for soldering new elements in

Stuff I got from a guy from Bulgaria. He also included the non-obligatory main ECU capacitor and datalog pins

All done!

I tested it and it works! I was very nervous, because I don't know why the original ECU died and am somewhat paranoid because of it. :|

So on we went with the exhaust welding. I opted for 63.5mm x 1.50mm exhaust. No bending of the pipes or anything. My good friend has a TIG welder so on we went with the looong process.

Laid out on the floor.

The exhaust is still not done and we were working for around 13h on it, excluding my preparation before. It is a meticulous work and a lot of test fitting needs to be done to have perfect fit. We only need to do the very last part (backbox and the long pipe over the width of car)

So, the exhaust is done. It's pretty loud, a tad more than I want it to be. I will try to get some videos with the GoPro, when I get it back.

Got the alignment done and snapped a pic of the exhaust from the back

Car is finally on the road.
Few more bonus pictures

What centre console is fitted to this ??
I spy a heat seat switch which doesn't look Honda.
The console looks like a 5th gen civic or newer ?
