Hello guys..
I think it's about time i start introducing myself instead of just lurking around this forum boards :-)

My journey with Hondas started before i got my drivers license.. My sister owned a 4G '90 Civic 1.4 Twin-carb.
She was the one who thaught me how to drive and that's when i fell in love with this simple, yet beautiful shape of the pocket-rocket car. I decided that when i'll get the chance i'll buy one for myself and mod it out, so it will be for my liking..
Two years after i got my drivers license i saved up enough cash and started looking for a Civic.. There ofcourse wasn't much to choose from, so i just watched the classifieds day after day, hoping to get a well looked-after 1.6i-16V Civic.. But no, when i wanted to buy one, there just wasn't any..damn Murphy!

Then after seeing that I won't get a 130HP civic that has mileage below 125k miles I started looking for a 1.5 90HP Civic. And so me and a friend of mine went out in hope to see the perfect Civic - little to none rust, good engine, great swap basis..

We've seen a few that day and just before we gave up i went to check classifieds again on my cellphone. There it was! A beautiful red Civic.. I immediately called and arranged to come see the car.
The price was fairly low and i was a bit sceptical and not really hoping to see what i later saw.

The car was previously owned buy the guys father. He bought it from the salon in 1990. It was well taken care of, garaged and did no more than 4k kilometers a year! I was shocked when i saw that the odometer said 127k kilometers. It had an electrical sunroof, extra pair of tyres, half a tank of gas and an MP3 radio with Pioneer speakers.
The car i was waiting for so-to say. The price on the web was 650€ and the guy ended up selling it to me for just 550€.

So far i've done about 20k kilometers, if not more and it has not once let me down! What a great car. There's a little rust and a few flaws that are going to be fixed once i get the swap over with, but let's leave that for later..

So uhm..let's get some pictures going :top:

This was the day i bought her
Image

Random shot
Image

Getting a new exhaust system..nothing fancy, a 45mm piping without the middle box and "sport" backbox (Old one on the picture)
Image

Had to get something new :)
Image

Amber corner lights and damaged filler bar
Image

Fitting keyless entry..thanks to my dad for helping me :P
Image

New alloys and tyres..they were free, don't judge me :D
Image

Polishing faded out color on bonnet
Image

But who knew that just a week after polishing and cleaning the whole car i'd crash it
Image

Car brought home and damage somewhat normalized..Had to buy new radiator, servo pump, front bumper, bonnet, filler bar, driver side headlight, corner light and blinker.. On this picture, new radiator, headlight and cornerlight were fitted just so i could drive it home (90km) and get it all fixed up.
Image

One busy weekend after the crash
Image

A friend had a 1.6i-16V Civic for sale, so i went and checked it out..ended up liking it a lot. Motor was top-notch and it had a lot of cool parts fitted (CRX seats, Remus backbox, VT break swap, lower springs and refurbished OEM shocks,..)
Image

And here is a family pic :top:
Image

And another
Image

A few months after my crash, i decided it was time to do something with that crashed fender..and this came out
Image

Fitted on the car after applying several layers of clear coat
Image

And here's something i was searching for months and finnaly got it! I was so happy! Mess inside my car, i know, i know :D
Image

Test fitted
Image

Decided to do something about that mess and cleaned it all up
Image

CR-X seats fitted
Image

Surprisingly these have no tearing and are almost mint condition
Image

And since i'm a clean look fan, i've deleted my rear wiper
Image

Got some work done on my new bonnet, a lot of bumps from hail and this one has no bulge on it
Image

Painted and matte coat on it, just the way i like it
Image

Oh, btw! I started refurbing my wheels  On this picture wheels are just milled and P400 grinded
Image

Here's a picture of one wheel done with polishing, next step is paining the inside 8)
Image

And a few months after i bought the other Civic we started tearing it up to bits, we found out the shell is too rusty to be considered worthy of repairing..we decided we'll do an engine swap in my ED6 and break ED7 into bits then chop it up and send it to its graveyard..
Image

Almost done..
Image

Aaaand out goes the engine
Image

Took off the head and got it refurbed (was wrapped a little and so the water leaked)
Image

More pics to come ;)
The fun is about to start..engine swap will be starting in about a month, if not sooner :top:

Can't wait to start driving a D16A9 engine! :drivegear:

And the 56k is just a joke :top:

Few updates :)

I've polished the rest of the rims to a mirror finish and decided to break the car as we're going to rent out a 140m^2 garage for quite a long time, so i'll have the time and the place to start doing what i really wanted to do for a long time..painting the car :top:

I've also delivered the engine to a friend of mine and he extracted the snapped bolt from the engine so all i need to do now is have the engine head straightened because it drained oil, then put the engine back together and swap it soon - hopefully..

Forgot to add i fitted a new front bumper, filler bar and lip, looks way better now 8)

Enought talk..pics time :P

Mirror, mirror on the wall.. 8)

Starting to do the work..

Hey it's a small country with not many Honda people. If you don't know Koshir, you can't know Honda !!

Now that can't all be true, altho i agree to some degree.
But there are and there were many great cars and their owners in Slovenia.
Take my sisters boyfriend for example:

Btw, quick update on my project:
Wheels got collected for painting :top: hopefully they'll be done before august 25th, because that's when we have JAP meet here in Slovenia. IF the wheels are done you can expect lowering and new wheels on by that date :)
