Do you not have his address ? Used to find in South London in the 60s that people power was quite persuasive ! Get your money back and then insert it for good measure.

Re: opinions on an Accord Type R

As said before they are nice cars but do suffer from specific problems, buy one that has had they common problems fixed. A cheap one will soon turn into an expensive one, cheapies on ebay are about £1200 but will cost more than that again to fix. Seats are a bit hard but they do handle well and retu...

Re: ARMAGEDDON - THE END OF MODIFYING CARS!

Having read this and being an ex MOT tester ( of 21 years ) what it means is that they will have the legislation to ensure vehicles meet the original specification for safety and air quality. This will mean cats must be in place, if fitted originally, and original seat belts, it does give them scope...

Re: Group buy on RHD Quaife quick racks

A quick rack on a race car is almost essential, my race Capri in the wet was a real handful and without the ability to get it onto opposite lock would have been a disaster. As for road use, have driven a couple of rally cars on the road and only takes a few minutes to get used to them , anyone who s...

Re: Stud Removal

They are ball bearings so I was able to put them back together, competant mechanic should be able to. The VT bearings are about £80 each , don't know honda's price and they are tricky to locate as pattern ones, only listed in one catalogue. Any probs get back to me.

Re: Stud Removal

Had one break on our 4G race car so decided to replace all eight and yes had to take the hub out, expect the outer bearing race to come with it but can be refitted if you are careful.

Re: Gaz Coilover setting

Superb articles, strange thing is Richard Asquith is an old friend of mine and I did work for him for a while , doing a lot of prep work on the CRX championship cars. Small world so must have come across your car ! Never tried rising rate springs rather complex to sort out and very difficult to meas...

Re: Gaz Coilover setting

Hi edh is there a thread on the spec of your car and what it has done, if not could you be kind enough to provide a bit of info. Most people run spring rates round the other way to you, hence my original question, some of the MGs run 800 on the rear. We run 400 all round as can't be bothered changin...

bearing

Take the bearing along to a proper bearing stockist and by referencing the number etched on it they will be able to match it , I never use honda as they are about 3 times the price. Hope this helps. :)
