Re: Gwenge's Car is not like yours.....
I love this thread, it's never boring.
In my head it makes sense to keep it an old school motor like a carbed a9, but at the same time an OEM b18c, maybe even some mild upgrading would make for an amazing track car.

Re: OBD0 ITBs
I've found a basemap that will run ITB's on BRE, but from reading (unless BRE has been updated) it was only mappable on vacuums, not the TPS. It makes more sense to go to OBD1, more cells to play with. Cheers Dave, I knew about the dizzy's being the same, just simplified for the purposes of the ques...

I need to change my 'decat' actually, as it's a pipe exhibit himself would be proud of. It's a pipe on a pipe on a pipe.

OBD0 ITBs
Has any body ran ITB on OBD0? Are they a piss about to set up / tune? IE enough of a PITA to warrant an OBD1 swap? EDIT Answered with a quick google. Seems OBD0 can only map on vacum, not TPS. OBD1 is it. So, to convert the DA to obd1, am I right in thinking i will need the following. Dizzy plug con...

Re: How-To - Fit an OMEX Rev Limiter/ Launch Control On Carb
I think I'll give Omex a ring and see if they can confirm. I'm doubtful they'll want to give out information like that however. If they don't I'll try source some info online, may have to resort to some multi meter investigation. I'll update this thread when I come round to installing it. Good guide...

Re: How-To - Fit an OMEX Rev Limiter/ Launch Control On Carb
To bump this... I bought an OMEX recently, lad said it was a single coil, but it's a twin coil version. You've said the twin coil will NOT work correct? Now, looking at the wiring diagrams, basic as they are, the blue(s) coming from the omex that goes to the coil - looks to be one and the same. IE o...

Re: Black ee9
I'm kind of in this bloke's shoes. The da is in dire need of paint, it's scratched all over and is 2 different colours. The car is flint as standard, and has red flakes in, but the rear filler bar and bumper seem to be in granada, as they have gold flake. The bits painted granada look a lot better, ...

Lol, no worries mate.
F1 stage 1 organic clutch and performance pressure plate came yesterday. Still waiting on arp head bolts, but more so the ACL race main and big end bearings as they'be stopped the build.

Re: Scottish 2 tone gl project :)
There looks to be a lot of positive camber on the final pic Charles took, wheels need attention too, but over all; a cheap car, pretty much free wheels and free coilies. Low mileage early spec too ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
