SiR wheel query

I know that the Si (non UK) originally didn't have alloy wheels as standard, unlike the UK version (1.6i 16) which got those hideous alloys (I preferred the steel wheels with plastic trims on the Si!). Can anyone tell me please what wheels came as standard on the SiR (non UK VT model)? Whenever I se...

I would never have had an auto in the past but these days I'm not as bothered about out & out performance, & as Adam said the autos do seem to be more looked after.

Thanx 4 the welcomes guyz. I'm s'posed to be picking up my new GL tomorrow (it was the white auto on e-bay - I wouldn't normally use e-bay but I went to see it & it's immaculate!)

Blimey, I thought it was bad in Manchester. Jealousy's a terrible emotion. When I had a CRX nicked in '96 I wouldn't have minded if I got it back once they'd had their joy ride in it, but they had to torch it didn't they so nobody could enjoy it. Morons. It's made me paranoid ever since. :(

I saw that one (I'd rather get one via autotrader than flea-bay) & thought it seemed like it was stolen 'cos of the broken window. Maybe I'm too cautious. :?

My thought exactly! It's better than most new cars. I'm just glad there's going to be any kind of CRX as I miss it.

That looks really nice! That Superior blue is ideally the colour I'd like a GL in. If I did get a DX I'd have to replace the bumpers for body-coloured ones as I think it suits the car so much more, & I prefer the red panel between the rear lights to the black one on DX's. (Fussy git aren't I? :r...

Thanx Adam but I've really got my heart set on a manual GL or 1.6i (16 or VT) as I've had them before & like them alot. I wonder if DX's don't rust as badly 'cos they haven't got the rubber strips along the side that trap water?

Welcome mate, was almost tempted to buy one of those cappucinos a while back :D how are they? They are fantastic to drive but unfortunately mine had a severely rusted chassis (without getting it up on a ramp there was no way of knowing :x ) which I found out after buying it that is a problem with t...

Hello there!

I'm a Honda nut having owned two 4th gen Civics (GL's), four CRX's (2 VTEC), one 5th gen Civic & an Accord Aerodeck between 1991 & 2004. However, for the last 5 years I have to confess to being unfaithful & owned a Suzuki Cappuccino & 2 Smart Roadster Coupes. But I have seen t...
