The Octavia VRS has 30bhp more than the equivilent 1.8T Golf. Stupid marketing from VAG there. So it's faster. Not a bad car either.

The wiring is wrong for a sedan.

The only car anywhere near close is the 4wd Shuttle.

Three actually, 2 spline differences, 2 different sized clutches + 3 different clutches, and there are two different sized flywheels. Depends on the date of manufacture.

I'm running gauze over them too, to stop large pieces of debris, but yes, in theory you are right. Mine's been fine for 2.5 years though.
