Rocker Cover, Breather Hole?
Hi Guys, On my 1.4 GL Rocker cover, as viewed from the front there are two screws on the left and right of the top wall of the cover. The right side has a loop ground wire from the larger ground wire from the top right retaining boult. However there is a central threaded hole in between the lt and r...

It turned out the alternator had just given way big time and without any warning. As Wellz says a bit of an electric testing shouldnt cost u much. Its these kind of faults that dri...

White Crud Heater Rheostat
Hi Guys, just done the Rheostat repair as in the Misc Section. Did anyone else who's done the repair find the elements covered in a white brittle crud similar to the build up in an electric kettle?
Its working well in all positions now. Thanks to the excellent "How to"

Sorry Cherry but you are wrong on this one. The law changed recently, as another member says you have to use a huge amount of veggie oil before you have to register as a fuel producer. Trouble is that most of the info about this on the net is very difficult to comprehend. Makes me wonder if they wri...

Adding a little petrol is an old boaters trick too. They added about a gallon for every 50 gallon of diesel. They said it was to stop the diesel from freezing. Roger, my mate sez his car smells like a chip shop at the traffic lights LOL. He says his car is running cleaner and more efficiently too. N...

Diesel Civic?
Guys I know that most of you are into your modding in a big way,,,, and why not. But I was just wondering if Honda produced a diesel 4G Civic? My mate has an old Pug 205 Diesel and after getting very low on diesel, miles from a garage, he found a shop and part filled the tank with veggie oil. He say...
