Yes, I know what you're saying about having the car on a ramp, but mine was on a 4 post ramp, so it was sat on it's wheels and they angle looks wrong. My vt has been lowered but only by about 30mm. I was just wondering if the shafts do sit perfectly straight on other VTs that haven't been lowered......

When I look under my car on a lift, the d/shaft dont come out of the g/box and go straight to the hubs, they seem at a weird angle. I have had the car years and just thought it was normal....anyone else noticed this? What's the reason for it? You'd think to have them straight as possible would be be...

I had a GL manual too, i paid 2750 for it in 1998 it only had 56k on it.
I never realised they were rare either.
Sold it for 1500 in 2001 when I got my VT.
It was immaculate too!

Put your heater on hot but leave your fan off inside the car. That obviously gives a cooling affect and will delay/stop the radiator fan kicking in.

no its the original, standard flywheel.

Does anyone know if all B16 starters are the same? My civic vt sounds horrible sometimes when starting, like its not meshin properly, does it about 1 in 5 starts. I have swapped the starter once before but its doing it again now so I want to get a good one, i thought one from a later car would be be...

I paid £920 for it in 2001 and it needed paintwork and a gearbox, I've slowly but surely got in to mint condition and wouldnt like to think how much ive spent on it in all that time... maybe its cos the vt has a bigger spare than a GL and they didnt bother altering the boot?
