I am looking to buy my first car and hav found a 1990 civic dx 1.3 auto matic the boy said it is running well it has 2 months tax and mot till december it has done 142000 and is local he's wanting £375 what do yous think ?

What price could I pick up a manual gearbox and all the parts I would need to convert my 1990 1.3 auto ? What box would I be looking for and how hard is this to do ? Al help welcome cheers
